Just like pure gold, pure silver is too soft for making jewelry. That is why it is mixed with other alloys to give it the hardness needed to make jewelry that stands up to the test of everyday wear. 925 Sterling silver is basically 92.5% pure silver mixed with 7.5% copper, zinc or nickel.
How will i know if my jewelry is authentic?
925 Stamp means the piece is 925 sterling silver
What is plated jewelry?
We work with gold plated or filled gold. Other than that every other product is 925 sterling silver.
